The New teacher´s role

 

Today´s social and technological changes have modified the traditional scenario where teachers take place, Those traditional teachers who are only knowledge transmitters must change.

Technological advances such as the Internet, virtual platforms and others, have not only facilitated the transmission of information from teacher to student, but also are beginning to replace it.

 

Research and practice show that school students today have modified their learning styles and are much more connected with the advantages of new technologies. This means that a new teacher role's perspective must be born.

 

In other words, the educational process can´t be understood as the simple transmission of information, since technology is becoming much more interesting for the student.

 

Teachers must become real Transformational leaders, behavioral coaches, researchers of their own students, exploring  their true potential and talent, an identifying  all beliefs that enable or block their motivations, achievements and constructive emotions.

 

Therefore, today´s teachers  and the near future ones, should focus more on developing the SELF including the full spectrum of skills that allow explore, identify, challenge and rethink the true potential both their own and that of their students in an ideal scenario.

 

This will  make a difference between traditional pedagogy based on transmission of knowledge with the new form of pedagogy based on the SELF development in order to manage the knowledge and the behavior.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     Authentic Transformational Leadership in the School organizational Development

 

Educational organizations must be aware of the best practices in organizational change carried out in the companies, which like the rest, both its effectiveness and its survival depends on the alignment that they have between

specific expectations of its members, parents, students, faculty and school workers.

 

Unfortunately, most attempts to solve these problems have not had the expected results despite having had clear intentions to provide widespread improvements offering training plans.

 

Another major advantage of the transformational leadership development  in educational institutions, is that  the same program is not limited to impact teachers teaching skills but also aims to make the participants (teachers, students, parents, and administrators ) in change agents that learn to explore and identify ways of improving their own campus.
