The sad repeated story of an entrepreneur with a brilliant business idea, can be successful for a while but then the people who believed in the entrepreneur as former partners / allies, customers, suppliers, leave ... And his/her idea, which could have become a large company that would create jobs, exported .... Ends up in a drawer ...
But what happened? If this entrepreneur had enough creativity to design a new product or service (And that's not common), it was enrolled in an entrepreneurship training program, took finance, accounting workshops, hired the best lawyer to take charge of the legal aspects ... So... What went wrong ... What if it wasn´t his/her fault, what was missing in the training program for entrepreneurs?


If We start from the premise that the best way to generate prosperity in the economy of any society is promoting entrepreneurship, then why training programs for entrepreneurs have not improved? Why do they still keep offering more of the same?
While it is true that all the ingredients of a traditional entrepreneurship development program are relevant (financial, administrative, legal, accounting, marketing, advertising), why so many companies are born and then die after a few months?
The general mindset promotes the idea that the best way to develop a business project was to give the entrepreneur (or team of entrepreneurs) a training program that includes a number of tools such as the mentioned above. However these tools are often unaware of essential human skills that will definitely determine the success or failure of the entrepreneurship project from the very beginning.

Authentic Transformational Leadership development among entrepreneurs, give them tools to be explored at the individual level, identify their strengths, opportunities of improvement, limiting beliefs that make you do or do not do productive things to your business idea. Also you can recognize the resistance to change and out of your comfort zone.
A Transformational entrepreneur can also explore and transform the members of his/her team, will develop an impressive awareness for what needs to be changed, where to innovate, will be an expert in generating ideal scenarios for identifying problems within company and outside it, but also will promote inclusive and democratically effective solutions building to the problems encountered.
This new entrepreneurial leader will know that the best way to make the business grow, is by transforming him/herself as well as having the ability to transform others, making them see different views, also will allow others to transform him/her if necessary in order to foster a continuous bussiness impovement.

Evidence has suggested that these skills are much more important than administrative skills that are usually offered in traditional entrepreneur training programs, in other words, it´s much better if entrepreneurs develope both administrative and human skills, but if we had to choose between hard and soft skills, the entrepreneur would be more successful with transformational leadership skills in order to develope a successful business.
In conclution, in 2016 we have to admit that a successful entrepreneurship training program must include a Transformational Leadership school as an integral part of this program, to be able to provide all human tools to determine the successful development of a great idea.
